Lechon is..
It's a traditional Filipino dish made by roasting a whole baby pig
In the cartoon, you put a whole pig on a skewer
It's the same way you bake it while rotating it
It's a food made by roasting a whole pig
Like the pose in the picture above
You poke it into a skewer and bake it
It's fantastic if you just look at the visuals..
but i think this food people like and dislike according to their taste
cuz i heared from my many guests who ate Lechon
If you actually get a dish and eat it
It's like boiled pork or bossam in Korean food
I'd like to let you know that I don't like this food that much
For those who haven't tried Lechon yet
Just experience it. I recommend you to think about it and eat it
First of all, that is House of Lechon
It's a restaurant specialized in Lechon that's famous for Cebu restaurants
I went to Cebu for a bit because I had a schedule
To show my friend the taste of traditional Filipino food
So I visited the most famous place
This is the menu of House of Lechon
The first menu is Lechon menu
My friends are also eating it as an experience
So I ordered the smallest size both regular lechon and spicy lechon
Also ordered a few other menus with 2 desserts that the staff recommended
The one on the left side of the picture is Lechon, which you receive for the actual meal
Even you order Lechon, that doesn't mean a whole pork
Depending on the weight you ordered, it is cut little by little and served
To be honest, even if a whole pig served and comes out..? can you eat it all..?
I'm going to make a guess carefuly
it's impossible to eat a whole one pig even Big Eater like the Tzuyang or Hibab..
The skin of the pig is cooked very well
It's good. It's littlebit hard and crispy
But the flesh is..
Personally, I think Korean boiled pork or bossam is ten times better
Other than Lechon
Pork BBQ, and garlic rice..
It's too much for two of us to eat together
And I ordered it late
Dynamite (Fried chili pepper)
In the past, I think I really enjoyed Kangkong..
I don't know my taste has changed since I getting old..
even if i order from any resto, It just tastes like just vegis with soy souce
..Does this mean I'm getting older..? Dammnn..
And the difference between regular lechon and spy lechon is
It felt like the same food to me
only sauce tastes a bit different
Dynamite is too salty
I couldn't eat it anymore after eating it a few times
The dessert was good enough to eat
The picture above is sweet potato flavored bread
It's a dessert menu called Mango Mochi
On top of the rice cake, which has a softer texture than Korean sticky rice cake
It's a menu with mangoes on top
It was worth eating
The pork BBQ was the best
Except for the too salty dynamite
They were all food that I could eat
It's a famous restaurant in Cebu
If you search House of Lechon on Google Maps, you'll find the location right away
When you visit, please search on Google Maps first
To experience the food culture of other countries
It's a restaurant worth visiting at least once
